Port Jefferson is a walkable waterfront village with no shortage of places to eat — but almost nowhere to get the halal style food the newer crowd loves and older generation craves. Halal City opened to change that, and it stuck.
Real Skill Behind the Counter
The platters here are seasoned and assembled with care — this isn't assembly-line food. Chicken is freshly marinated and seasoned with spices and herbs. The lamb in particular surprises people every time: tender, rich, and nothing like they expected. We cook fresh falafels and kebabs. Our tenders and wings are marinated and seasoned every day and cooked to order.
